Bio:
"Integrity, purity if you want, are an effect of a will, and a will that must never stop”.

“The will” definitely proves the growth of this five pieces band, after years of shows, tours and recording sessions: this is the result of almost a couple of years of working hard writing new songs.

The first Kafka show was january, 7th 1995 at the squatted section of the Licterature University in Genova. They were the support band of Frammenti, the well known Turin combo, but still undefined for those young guys under the name of "Kafka band".

Nine years later Kafka are one of the best italian hardcore bands under any aspect. One of those bands that do not just play but try to carry on a wider project made of music, words and images. It comes straight out from the layouts of their releases, very carefully designed with all the lyrics translated from italian to english...it's a matter of comunication, a need that a lot of bands nowadays lack of...not the so used slogans but deeply felt and very personal pieces of "heart's art" which confirm Kafka as a band with tons of things to say into today's scenario, something definitely not so easy to find.

Their sound nowadays turned out to be a screaming-chaotic hardcore, which slides from melodic riffs to mosh parts, from rockish mid tempo beats to the chaos of ultra core. Some echoes remind to Yage, some others to Brooklin' heroes Indecision. The perfect impact is of course live, with a high shrill voice over a chaotic metallic background that blows anything up.

Kafka is no longer a band since may 2006, after more than ten years career. They left a considerable mark on the italian hardcore scene and history.
