Bio:
It was the year 2003 when, after a 3 year stay in London, singer/songwriter Mayo (formerly singer for SOTTOPRESSIONE and guitarist of MURUROA and CLEFT), back in his hometown Milano, decided to call his best pal Diste (already a fellow in SOTTOPRESSIONE years before) to join him on bass for a new hardcore project and after a quick chat he was in. Easy!

On guitar was pretty obvious Mayo would call his young brother Dario (aka Dr.Pepper), already seen on the 6 strings with the post-core combo "FIFTYARDSMORE" who infact accepted immediately, and on drums he recruted the notorious Paolino (name any band from Milan and you have good chances he played with them at least a show!).

The recent formed LA CRISI’s goal is to play classic italian old school hardcore in vein of INDIGESTI and NEGAZIONE without forgetting the lesson learned from BAD BRAINS and NEGATIVE APPROACH.

With this line up the band quickly recorded a demo and started to play around Italy as much as possible, sharing stages with bands like RAW POWER, DARKEST HOUR, CONVERGE, GOOD RIDDANCE, CUT THE SHIT and many others.
In the beginning of 2005 LA CRISI released their first self titled full length album for Hurry Up! Records and the summer of the same year they toured USA (east coast only) with label mates INGEGNO and it was a blast! LA CRISI played with longtime friends ENSIGN for a couple of gigs and met up with bands like CARPENTER ANT, 86 MENTALITY, RATBYTE, PERMANENT and many more.

Back in Italy LA CRISI continued to play live and started to write new songs for a 2nd album, but a few problems rose up...problems that, by the end of 2006, leaded drummer Paolino to leave the band.
His place was luckily replaced by Moreno (previously on some italian hardcore bands like RESPITE and IMPLOSION, and the swiss band THE GONE OVERSEAS) and for LA CRISI it was time to start from the beginning.
Definitely a drastic change, used to the "frenetic-restless-drumfilling" drumming of Paolino, with Moreno LA CRISI gained a huge amount of square weight of their own - still fast - sound. With a rhythm section like this the new songs started to shape pretty fast and on february 2008 everything was ready to fly to Godcity Recording Studios in Salem MA to record the new album with Kurt Ballou of CONVERGE but, all of a sudden and less than a month before flying to USA, Diste decided to leave the band. What a shock! Diste was not just a bassplayer, but the friend of a lifetime...the situation was critical, but the band didn’t give in and 48 hours later they found Lele (bassplayer of REDBLOODHANDS and ANGELICA MARINER) as a replacement for Diste! More likely a miracle than simple luck, Lele learnt all the songs in a few practices and 3 weeks later he recorded the album.

"II - Tutti A Pezzi" is the second full length album of LA CRISI that, with this new line up, is still on the road delivering fast, strong &loud italian oldschool hardcore. And if you ask them "What's LA CRISI about?" you'll get: having fun, express your feelings, your anger, your joy, play fast, play loud. Not simple words, not simple chords. Words from the heart, sound that cut, sharp, like a razor, that beat hard like a hammer, that run fast like a train. Real music, for real people. We play HARDCORE.

II - Tutti a pezzi
these guys know exactly what they want to do, and they do it.

II - Tutti a pezzi
Wow, raging hardcore punk with fierce and furious vocals and an unrelenting breakneck pace. It has a classic sound without borrowing from any band in particular, which I feel is oh-so-rare. Pair that with a charismatic singer with a truly singular personality and voice and you have something really special.

II - Tutti a pezzi
Un lavoro, ne sono convinto, che lascia il segno, per una band di assoluto valore. E chi non lo capirà adesso lo rimpiangerà poi

II - Tutti a pezzi
