...theKING was born from the clash of different people from different bands and lives. Around may 2003 the band formed and started to bring something new and refreshing to their fellows around the roman area.
Lifetime friends and already known veterans of the roman hardcore scene joined the band to let passion meet love and fire, starting as an emo-violence project. Immediately the r'n'r flavour mixed in the band's riffs, shooting their sound towards a more 70's hardrockish post-core.
After few shows they were asked to join hup! records and on march 2004 their debut mcd "Heart b.i.t." is out. And it rocks as hell!
A walk through the ashes of past fires and new sparkles, personal struggles and love affairs, bleeding into daylife questions.
Despite all the italian press acclamation, The King went through a lot of line-up problems which lead to the band quit shortly after the release of their mini-CD.
