Jan 04 | Welcome 2009, welcome FORGING FRIENDSHIPS!2009 starts in an awesome way for Hurry Up! Records. We have the honor to announce the first IRISH band to join the HUP family: FORGING FRIENDSHIPS! These guys are really making it happen for the Dublin hardcore and we couldn't be happier. They will record in a few days the songs for their first album, “Every Road Leads Back Here”.
HUP is arriving in Ireland to be part of this new hardcore scene that is being built here by some awesome kids. Thanks to Mac and Demented Promotions to receive us so well and to introduce us to Forging Friendships. We hope we join efforts to make things better and better in Dublin for 2009! And we hope we can be part of this perfect moment you guys had started 2 years ago. To us of HUP Recs hardcore means passion and it's awesome to be able to share it with people that still believe in the same things we do: passion, family, music and message.
This is also an opportunity to make a balance of 2008. It was a special year for HUP. In Brazil and South America we released Your Fall, 108 and Verse. We did some great tours: Outbreak, 108 and Bane. With Bane we had the opportunity to travel and play together – with Overstate – around Colombia and Brazil. Working hard, always keeping our limits, values and goals in mind, we did our best with professionalism and all the bands want to come back. That's why wherever we see the Have Heart guys, they talk about coming back. And we're planning to take them again to their second South America tour in 2009. Verse want to come too, same as for some other bands that we are talking to. Our partnership with Bridge 9 and Deathwish is getting stronger and we are working to take more CDs and official merch to Brazil too.
In Italy, we did some great stuff too. La Crisi released their second full length album, II - Tutti a Pezzi. It is so good that we decided to make a vinyl edition of it as well! They're playing a lot and they will start 2009 with a US tour with Strength Approach in March. Locked In joined HUP Recs with the release of “Walk the Plank”. They finished 2008 with an European tour with our Brazilian guys of Your Fall – that came for the first time to play in Europe to spread their first album. The tour was amazing and both bands are really glad with the final result. Thanks to Aldo of Pizza Connection Booking for making it happen! 2009 is coming with more news, tours and releases!

Jan 01 | YOUR FALL and LOCKED IN tour was a BLAST!We actually did not expect that, but Locked In and Your Fall Winter Tour was a BLAST! Always good shows, kids supporting the bands, Brazilians and Italians having loads of fun...seriously it couldn't have been better!
We would like to thank Aldo for the booking of the tour, all the promoters and everybody that gave a chance to both our bands and went to a show.
We will announce a new tour from another band of ours next week!

"II – TUTTI A PEZZI" is the new album from LA CRISI. Recorded and mixed by Kurt Ballou at God City Studios - Salem (MA) - the album contains 13 songs including a cover of an old Italian hardcore classic. It sounds very solid as a strong follow-up of what the band was bringing to life with its first album: honest, passionate and still very peculiar old school hardcore with Italian lyrics, edgy but still catchy.
The album will be released late June and a EXCLUSIVE pre-order package deal will be available ONLY through the HUP store, so keep an eye on it for the next weeks and get yours!
The new CD release party will take place at the Skaletta Rock Club in Las Pezia the 20th of june. That night La Crisi will share the stage with the mighty Raw Power!

Mar 26 | INGEGNO announce new CD!We are so siked to announce that "Ancora sveglio" (still awaken) will be the title of INGEGNO brand new studio album!
The band added one guitarist to its line-up and it's preparing to enter the studio next month to record what it's to be dated as the most personal album, and probably the more mature, the band wrote.
We are really looking forward to hear INGEGNO's new material and we're already working on the artwork.
As we said, this is gonna be a pretty busy year!
Feb 26 | LA CRISI announce new CD!Finally: Milan HC finest LA CRISI, active since 2003 and with a “S/T” CD on HUP, will start recording March 17th 13 new songs for the own second full length!
The big news is the band will be under the guide of Kurt Ballou at God City Studios in Salem – MA, so we are expecting a surprising result for the Italian old-school band!
The CD will be released this summer and will have a colored vinyl version too that the band will carry on tour starting from June hitting Italy, Europe and possibly U.S.A.
We are extremely happy and satisfied with La Crisi’s choice of continuing with HUP a work started 3 years ago, and we are very pleased that in between lot of offers Mayo & Co. decided to stay with us, trusting what we do!

Feb 04 | HUP signs a deal with Bridge 9!Yeah, we cannot be more stocked: finally, HUP Records signed a deal with Bridge Nine Records about distribution over U.S.A. for the present and future HUP releases.
This is going to be very good for us and our bands, since we can have more visibility and give more support in the States to our touring bands there!
We have plenty of good things for this 2008 but this is by far the best news this beginning of year could give us!

Jan 29 | Taking you down...Australia!We are very happy to announce that Watch Your Step's first full length "Taking you down with me" will be licensed in Australia by Pee Records, label home of The Scissors File and Provoke amongst others.
Plans for WYS are to go down there in August to do a full tour, hope they can make it!

Dec 28 | WYS recording a new songOur Florence hardcorers are into the studio again to record a song to be featured as ghost track on the LP version of "Taking You Down With Me", which will be released on March '08.
Watch Your Step will have a very special guests featuring in this song: the infamous italian rap combo TRUCEKLAN from Roma.
The song is on its way to be mixed as we speak, and the band is already booking its European tour to support this release in March of next year.
We wish everybody a Happy New Year, and a promising future for HUP and the independent HC in 2008!

Dec 19 | NEW SIGNING: YOUR FALLWe are very psyched to announce the new entry in our family: it's the Brazilian powerhouse YOUR FALL!
The band is not new to us since we signed it for the Brazilian section of the label too, but since the band is very good and it's willing to tour SO much, we decided it was time for us to expand our horizon outside Italy for this brand new signing!
I really suggest to check out their myspace where they have a song off the new record...these guys have a lot of NYHC in their background and play something really close to Cro-Mags, Leeway and Killing Time. But there's a bit of Boston sound in what they do too...they know how to play something "old" still sounding "fresh"!
Expect their self titled debut album to be released in Europe in early 2008, and their tour during next summer!

All D.I.Y., all for passion, even in this time where everything seems to lose meaning, we keep on doing what we like.
We wanna thank everybody that kept give support to the label over the recent year, who understood us in our mistakes and celebrated with us the goals we achieved, the bands of our roster and the ones who left the label, and MOSTLY everybody who gives a shit about hardcore, who gives a shit about his scene, who doesn't give up and doesn't let this reality fall apart. We hold tight to all of this. Thank you.
